PONCHO

This Poncho is an excellent choice for draping over your shoulders during a cool evening. Featuring striking colour blocking, you have the option to select either muted or more vibrant hues.

• 3 x 100g colours of 4 different shades (12 total) 
  Sheepsoft or Wooltrace
• 4mm circular needles at least 120cm/48 long
• Stitch holder

Tension 22sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4in measured over stocking stitching using 4mm needles

FRONT LEFT PANEL
Using 4mm needles cast on 143 sts with yarn A
Row 1 (RS): K1 * P1, K1 rep from * to end.
Rep last row 13 times more.
Starting with a K row work in st st until work meas 16cm, ending with a WS row.
Working first and last 5 sts in moss st on each row cont colour sequence as below.
Change to yarn B
Work for a further 16cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn C
Work for a further 16 cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn D
Work for a further 16 cm, ending with a WS row
Leave these stitches on a stitch holder.

FRONT RIGHT PANEL
Using 4mm needles cast on 143 sts with yarn A
Row 1 (RS): K1 * P1, K1 rep from * to end.
Rep last row 13 times more.
Starting with a K row work in st st until work meas 16cm, ending with a WS row.
Working first and last 5 sts in moss st on each row cont colour sequence as below.
Change to yarn B
Work for a further 16 cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn C
Work for a further 16 cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn D
Work for a further 16cm, ending with a WS row
Leave these stitches on a stitch holder.

BACK PANEL
Using yarn D Starting at left front panel, work first 5 sts in moss stitch, K123 sts, (P1, K1) 5 times, join right front panel (P1, K1) 5 times, K123 sts, work last 5 sts in moss stitch.
Next Row: Work first 5 sts in moss stitch, purl to last 5 sts, work 5 sts in moss stitch.
Next Row: Work first 5 sts in moss stitch, knit to last 5 sts, work 5 sts in moss stitch.
Rep last 2 rows until work meas 16cm from panel joins, ending with a WS row.
Change to yarn C
Work for a further 16cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn B
Work for a further 16cm, ending with a WS row
Change to yarn A
Work for the same length as front panels, to start of moss stitch, work 14 rows in moss stitch.
Cast off.
